Arrive at Yangon International Airport. Welcome by our guide & transfer to the hotel. Afternoon, visit to Botataung Pagoda – combination of stupa & temple type, Chaukhtatgyi – a huge Reclining Buddha Image. Finally, visit Shwedagon Pagoda- its golden stupa is the 'heart ' of Myanmar over 2,500 years old. Overnight in Yangon.
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport and flight to Heho. Upon arrival Heho airport, drive to Pindaya by enjoying the marvelous landscapes of hilly region with vegetables plantation, terrace landing cultivation, etc. Visit the Pindaya Caves - houses countless Buddha Images, umbrella workshop at the village. And then continue to Inle Lake & transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Inle Lake.
Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Boat excursion on the lake &
visit to the local tribe market & Shwe Inn Dein pagoda complex. Continue visit
to Phaungdaw Oo Pagoda the most venerable pagoda on the lake, Nga Phe Chaung
monastery, floating garden & floating farm, etc. Overnight in Inle Lake.
Morning visit around Inle Lake & visit to Inn Paw Khone village where you may observe the hand weaving of silk and lotus petal robe, cigar workshop at Nan Pan village. Then, transfer to the airport and flight to Mandalay. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Mandalay.
Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Excursion to Amarapura - an ancient capital of Myanmar, where we can observe the life of over 1000 monks at Mahagandaryon Monastery & silk weaving factory. Proceed to Sagaing, where we can observe the fascinating landscapes of the Ayeyarwaddy River from serene Sagaing Hill, the place of over 700 monasteries Kaungmudaw Pagoda the magnificent dome remarkably seen from far away, silverware factory, etc. Continue to Ava and visit by horse carts to Maenu Okkyaung Monastery - built by the chief queen in 1818, Nan Myint Tower - 27 meter masonry high, Bargayar Monastery - well known for its wood carving with 267 teak pillars. Come back to Amarpaura and enjoy the sunset by crossing over U Bein bridge. Overnight in Mandalay.
Day 06 River cruise Mingun & sightseeing Mandalay
Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Boat excursion to Mingun (01 hour) along mighty Ayeyarwaddy River. During the river cruise, we may enjoy the fascinating landscapes of the river as well as the daily life of the people living along the Ayeyarwaddy. Visit Mingun pagoda – unfinished pagoda & the biggest ringing bell of 90 tons, the unusual Myatheindan pagoda. Back to Mandalay and visit Mahamuni Buddha Image - one of the most sacred Buddha Images in Myanmar. Continue visiting of traditional handicraft workshops such as, marble carving, gold leaves beating, Kuthodaw Pagoda – the World's Biggest Book for its stone slabs of Buddhist scripture, Shwenandaw (Golden Palace) Monastery. Finally enjoy the sunset on top of Mandalay Hill where we can admire the beauty of Mandalay City, Shan Plateau, etc. Come back to hotel and leisure. Overnight in Mandalay.
Day 07 Drive to Monywa (112 km, 03 hours). Excursion Powintaung Caves
Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Monywa and on the way enjoy the life of the rural area. Upon arrival, transfer and check in at the hotel. Late afternoon, excursion to Powintaung Caves - situated in a cliff which houses over 400,000 Buddha Images. Overnight in Monywa.
Day 08 Visit Monywa & proceed to Bagan (290 km, 5 hours)
Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Visit Thanbode Temple – over 500, 000 Buddha images built in 1930, Bodhitathaung Temple – over 1000 sitting Buddha images under Bodhi trees (Ficus Religioso), Shwetharlyaung Buddha image, etc. Proceed to Bagan. Upon arrival, transfer and check in at the hotel. Overnight in Bagan.
After breakfast at the hotel, visit colorful morning market, Shwezigon Pagoda – the golden stupa is the glory of Bagan, Gubyaukgyi Temple - the best mural paintings of 11th century, Htilominlo Temple – noted for its pilaster carving, Nathtaukkyaung Monastery – ancient wooden monastery, Ananda Temple - an architectural masterpiece resembling a Greek Cross, lacquer ware workshop - the unique of Bagan. After morning visit in Bagan, refreshment at the hotel. Late afternoon, visit Manuha Temple with gigantic Buddha images, Dhamayangyi Temple - the biggest temple in Bagan, Sulamani Temple - the 12th century temple, etc. Evening, you may enjoy the sunset from the top of the temple. Overnight in Bagan.
Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Mt. Popa - an extinct volcano which is known as “Home of the Spirits” and observe the life of rural area and the cottage industry such as producing the palm sweets. We may stop at several places for making the photos and knowing the countryside. Climb up 777 steps to reach the top of Mt. Popa cliff temple and enjoy the landscapes, the panoramic view of extinct volcano and plain to Bagan. After visit, come down and back to Bagan. Finally, take the boat ride on mighty Ayeyarwaddy River during the sunset time. Overnight in Bagan.
Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the Airport for flight to Yangon. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel & check in. Leisure on your own. Later afternoon, visit Bogyoke market [except on Monday] and wandering around china town area. Overnight in Yangon.
